United for Peace is a national initiative of The Oxford Foundation (www.theoxfordfoundation.com) uniting communities to affirm the values of love, compassion, respect and understanding as opposed to the narrative of violence, division and hatred advocated by violent extremists.  National events have taken place in Oxford and Birmingham and with more planned nationally.

United for Peace: Unity through Music is a unique event hosted by The Oxford Foundation in partnership with the Oxford Council of Faiths that will draw communities from across Oxfordshire together through the universal language of music with the ground-breaking and nationally acclaimed The Berekah Project (http://berakaharts.org.uk/), a national multifaith music ensemble.

There will also be a collection for Her Majesty’s Diamond Jubilee Legacy Fund for East Oxford [http://www.diamondlegacyforeastoxford.org/], a local fund supporting local East Oxford communities and individuals.
